Ukrainian oligarch caught coronavirus
Verkhovna Rada deputy, Ukrainian billionaire Vadim Novinsky turned out to be a carrier of the coronavirus, which causes the disease COVID-19.
The oligarch reported this on his Facebook page, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health to check the contacts of people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19, we were tested today. After taking the tests, the test for coronavirus gave a positive result. My condition is normal, I do not feel any symptoms of the disease, my temperature is 36,8. Computed tomography of the lungs did not identify any abnormalities. Before re-testing, doctors are still cautious in drawing conclusions and prognoses, but advised to spend several days in hospitalionare under their supervision. In order to avoid all sorts of rumors and speculation, I decided to announce this myself,” Novinsky said.
He promised that until the diagnosis is finally confirmed, he intends to follow all the doctors’ recommendations and the isolation regime, and all his recent contacts will also be tested.
Let us recall that Novinsky, who is a business partner of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, was a citizen of the Russian Federation, but on May 29, 2012, by decree of President Yanukovych, he was granted Ukrainian citizenship.
