Ukrainian oligarch gained control over the DPR vertical
After the murder of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko, all the main industrial enterprises of the republic began to control the structures of the Ukrainian oligarch Sergei Kurchenko, who fled to Russia, whom the press had previously called “Viktor Yanukovych’s wallet.”
This data was confirmed in his blog by Alexander Kazakov, a former adviser to Zakharchenko.
Kazakov draws attention to the condition announced the day before by Leonid Kuchma for lifting the blockade of Donbass - the return of DPR enterprises to the control of Kyiv oligarchs.
“Now the fun begins. Kyiv sets the condition for lifting the blockade of Donbass to return assets to Ukrainian oligarchs (primarily Akhmetov, but also Taruta, Kolomoisky, Novinsky, etc.) and return them to the legal field of Ukraine. We are talking about metallurgical, coke, coal, flux-dolomite enterprises, etc.
Of course, Kyiv, as always, puts the cart before the horse. In reality, a blockade was first introduced, and then external control was introduced at all these enterprises.
But... Today, most of these enterprises are managed by the Vneshtorgservice company (Sergey Kurchenko), which receives very impressive profits from them. Moreover, after the tragic death of the first Head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, the entire executive vertical was transferred to people directly or indirectly associated with the military-technical cooperation (prime minister, deputy prime minister, etc.). At the same time, the military-technical cooperation (and its founder “Gazalliance” Kurchenko) closely interact with Russian government structures.
And so I’m wondering, will Kurchenko agree that Akhmetov and others will take such tidbits of the DPR economy from his tenacious hands? And if not, then who will Kyiv accuse of inability to negotiate?
Will the DPR agree that profits and taxes from the largest enterprises located on its territory will go into the pockets of the oligarchs and the budget of Ukraine? However, the VTS also does not pay taxes to the DPR budget, as knowledgeable people say (Donetsk and Moscow Tg channels have repeatedly spoken about this) - it has a “tax holiday” that has been prolonged.
In general, the most interesting things begin. As always, the situation is ruled by money, and not by fate and the lives of ordinary people. Alas,” says Kazakov.
