Ukrainian ombudsman fainted during Poroshenko's speech
Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova lost consciousness and fell during a live broadcast with the participation of Petro Poroshenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This happened during Poroshenko’s speech, when he convinced that Ukraine had a unique chance to acquire a Church where they do not “pray for Putin,” and global support for Kyiv has never been so strong.
“We now have the most powerful global coalition in all the times of Ukraine’s existence that supports us. We saw the instant reaction of the whole world...” Poroshenko said, then stopped when he saw Denisova faint.
The official was picked up by the men present in the studio and taken backstage.
Poroshenko, returning to the microphone, said that Denisova was experiencing overload, “working 20 hours a day to free Ukrainian sailors.”
A few minutes later the official returned to the studio. Poroshenko at this time demanded that Russia return the crew members and Navy boats that had surrendered without any conditions.
