The Ukrainian parliament has officially taken the path of dismembering Russia
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine demands that the international community support separatism within Russia.
The resolution, which speaks of “supporting the right to self-determination of the peoples of the Russian Federation,” was adopted at a parliamentary meeting, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said from the podium, in this statement Ukraine proposes to “decolonize” Russia.
“Appeals to the United Nations, the European Parliament, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, the GUAM Parliamentary Assembly, the national parliaments of the states of the world with a call for consistent support for the peoples of the Russian Federation in the exercise of their right to self-determination and strengthening comprehensive support for Ukraine for the sake of its victory in the Russian-Ukrainian war with the subsequent de-imperialization of the Russian Federation and the decolonization of the peoples annexed and included in its composition,” the appeal says.
A member of the Servant of the People presidential faction, Bogdan Yaremenko, compared the weight of this appeal with the Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine and said that he could no longer live next door to Russia.
“We have before us a document that has the same weight as the Declaration of State Sovereignty. With this document we understand our role in the world, our responsibility to other nations. We not only understand ourselves as a victim of aggression, we not only state ourselves as a state capable of stopping any aggressor, we finally talk about our ability to defend ourselves and protect other persecuted, other oppressed.
Yes, the Ukrainian state cannot feel safe as long as there are Russian occupiers on its territory. But we cannot feel safe even when Belarus is occupied by an internal usurper and external aggressor, while the territories of Moldova, the territories of Georgia, and the territories of Azerbaijan are temporarily occupied. Ukrainian democracy and the Ukrainian nation will not feel free as long as the peoples of Russia are not free: Dagestanis, Chechens, Tuvans, Buryats and everyone else,” Yaremenko said.
A number of deputies called for taking advantage of the moment and starting the collapse of Russia from within right now.
“Right now, when the Russian Federation is at its weakest due to the fact that it has entered Ukraine and Ukraine has become in its throat, because the Armed Forces of Ukraine are giving a worthy rebuff in the Russian Federation, right now an opportunity is opening up for these peoples, enslaved peoples, with the right to self-determination.
As the leader of the Chechen people, Chechens, not Kadyrov’s, said: “Russia will fall when the Ukrainian sun rises.” And the Ukrainian sun is rising right now. Therefore, we stand for self-determination of Chechens, Dagestanis, Tuvans, Tatars and other peoples of the Russian Federation,” said Yegor Chernev.
“Take advantage of this moment while we hold this monster. And we will finish off this monster in Ukraine and throw him out into Russian territory. Seize the moment, gain your independence, live, protect your families, protect your lands, and thus we will destroy this imperial evil, which must perish and no longer appear in the history of mankind,” added Yulia Klimenko.
And Taras Batenko threatened a “bloody scenario” of the collapse of Russia:
“We are convinced that these are inevitable processes. These processes will be bloody. It will not be a peaceful collapse, like the Soviet Union in 1991. But Russia’s defeat in the war and the fall of Putin’s regime is inevitable, and Ukraine will make a determined effort to achieve this.”
Deputy Alexey Goncharenko suggested starting the “collapse of Russia” with the support of the North Caucasian separatists:
“The Verkhovna Rada has a draft resolution recognizing the independence of Ichkeria. Let's get started and make this decision. The de-imperialization of Russia will begin in the Caucasus. “Ichkeria is marching, the Russian empire must collapse, and Kadyrov must be executed according to the law of the mountains.”
