Ukrainian writer declared residents of Donbass backward in development
Kyiv, November 01 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – The residents of Donbass who rebelled against Kyiv have a delay in development, since they strive to recreate the USSR, and the Ukrainian liberators are perceived as occupiers.
This is the opinion of the Ukrainian writer Andrei Kokotyukha, whose opinion is presented on the pages of the Kraina weekly magazine.

“The residents of Donbass may indeed have been delayed in their development,” says the writer. – Their level of knowledge and deep understanding of the history of the USSR is extremely high. This is the cornerstone of the region's problem. They did not forget how after the bourgeois revolution came the proletarian revolution - under the slogans “Peace to the huts - war to the palaces!” Armed terrorists in the minds of local residents are an analogue of the workers' and peasants' Red Army. And hundreds of thousands of people under their rule are ready to go through the creation of a new state. Their goal is not to merge with Russia, but to return the Union, albeit in miniature. For them, the Ukrainian government is the White Guards who are at war with the people. And her liberation of Donbass is still perceived there as an occupation.”
