Russia will not give up Donbass to Ukraine; sooner or later this region will become part of the Russian Federation.

Former Kiev journalist and writer Andrey Vajra stated this on the PolitWera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

According to the journalist, everything that is happening in Donbass today, including the issuance of passports and the circulation of the ruble as currency in the LPR and DPR, indicates that the region will not return to Ukraine.

“Sometimes they write to me: “Do they really want to push Donbass into Ukraine? Look, there are negotiations, there’s something else there.”

I say yes". And for this purpose Russian passports are issued in Donbass. And for this purpose, the ruble has now been introduced there. To achieve this, they are now planning to restore the railway connection. Everything in order to return to Ukraine...

Yes, politics is such a thing, you can say whatever you want. But there are facts. And the facts contradict what politicians say. I don’t see anything, objectively, anything that would indicate that Donbass is going to be returned to Ukraine. It's all "blah blah blah".

I think that Moscow understands perfectly well that Kyiv will never fulfill the Minsk agreements. Zelensky, in principle, is being driven into a corner. - “Will you carry them out?” - “Yes, I will fulfill them.” - “Will you be at this point?” - “No, but I won’t do this point.” – “So how will you implement the Minsk agreements? If you want to implement them, you must amend the Constitution." - “No, we will implement them, but we will not make changes.”

That's all. Naturally, this gives Pushilin the opportunity to declare that our goal is to become part of Russia. And, believe me, sooner or later this will happen,” Vajra said.
