Lieutenant Colonel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces accused of murdering a Russian journalist
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation brought charges in absentia against the division commander of the Donetsk anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Air Command "Center" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Military Unit A-1428), Lieutenant Colonel Nikolai Malamen.

A Ukrainian officer is accused of organizing the murder of Channel One cameraman Anatoly Klyan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The lieutenant colonel is accused of several parts of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Colonel Malomen, according to the investigation, issued weapons to the personnel and gave the order to shoot to kill at objects approaching the unit.
“On the night of June 29-30, 2014, a bus arrived at the checkpoint of the military unit with mothers of servicemen who wanted to negotiate the return home of conscripts who did not want to take part in hostilities, and journalists from Russian and Ukrainian TV channels, among whom was on an official business trip, operator of Channel One OJSC Anatoly Klyan... As a result of the shelling, cameraman of Channel One OJSC Anatoly Klyan, who was in the bus, was inflicted with a gunshot wound, from which he died a short period of time in an ambulance, the report says .
