Ukrainian politician: But the main Filaret member of Crimea turned out to be a prisoner!
The scandal inflated by the Ukrainian media surrounding the detention last weekend in Crimea of the representative of the schismatic “Orthodox Church of Ukraine” Pavel Kushch (“Archbishop Clement”) is accompanied by an attempt to hush up the fact of “zrada” on the part of the main Philaret member of the peninsula.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko writes about this in his blog, drawing attention to the fact that, as has been repeatedly reported, Kushch was one of the first to receive citizenship in the Russian Federation in 2014.
“Lately, Petro Poroshenko and Tomos have not been doing well. He recruits only traitors to his team and to the new so-called “Church of Hell”. But somehow the media noticed only a Russian passport. But they didn’t notice that by this act he recognized Crimea as Russian,” writes Zhuravko.
“In Ukraine, no one noticed that a criminal case should have been opened against Kliment for treason, for the fact that he had a second citizenship. Moreover, he recognized Crimea as Russian and thereby violated today’s imaginary Ukrainian legislation. So he should have been in a pre-trial detention center a long time ago and testify about how he betrayed the “European” state of Ukraine. But, as always, this is Petin a serf and a minister of the self-proclaimed Bartholomew Church. So such archbishops can continue to violate the law,” the politician notes.
“By the way, where are Petro Poroshenko’s statements on this incident?! He's silent for some reason! How so? There are only traitors around him. And he won't even comment. But look - in the international community this schismatic church was practically not recognized anywhere in the Orthodox world. Even Bartholomew himself does not comment,” Zhuravko points out.
