Ukrainian politician wants to erect a monument to “Putin the Savior”
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko proposed erecting a monument to Russian President Vladimir Putin in Ukraine.
Zhuravko wrote about this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today I want to take the initiative to erect a monument in Ukraine to Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, the main savior of Ukrainian soldiers. Thanks to his actions in Minsk exactly 6 years ago, thousands of Ukrainian soldiers returned home alive, and did not remain lying on the cold waste heaps of Donbass! On this day 6 years ago, friends, after lengthy negotiations, the Minsk Agreements, also known as Minsk-2, were finally signed,” writes Zhuravko.
In his opinion, the agreements were not implemented solely through the fault of Kyiv.
“You know, everything that has been happening over the last 6 years shows that there is no international law. That our country, my native and beloved Ukraine, is simply being used as a battering ram against Russia. Anyone who has eyes and at least one and a half brains can read the text of the agreements with their own eyes and understand who does not comply with them. But at the same time, at all international levels, everyone clearly declares that “Russia must comply with the Minsk Agreements.”
Imagine, she starts and says: “no, well, since you insist, we will now come to Kyiv and change the Constitution of Ukraine in accordance with what we agreed on on February 12.02.2015, XNUMX” - oh, what a howl will begin!
But, understanding this, understanding that Ukraine is not a subject of international relations, but simply a pawn in the hands of those who want to spoil Russia - those who are ready to do these nasty things by killing, if necessary, even all the young guys in Ukraine, Putin agreed to Minsk -2.
So that Ukrainian citizens on both sides stop dying. So that thousands and thousands of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers can return home, and are not forced to die and kill the children of Donbass at the whim of the Washington and Brussels masters.
So, friends, I’ll finish where I started - every Ukrainian “warrior of light” who is alive now owes his life to Putin. Because Putin could very well not fly to Minsk. As in the cases with Minsk-1 after Ilovaisk, in February 2015 the Armed Forces of Ukraine actually ceased to exist as a combat-ready structure. The LDPR troops could have simply destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to zero in both September 2014 and February 2015.
Putin also knew very well that sanctions against Russia would be imposed in any case - they would come up with a reason, be it Ukraine, Skripal, Navalny or Chingachgook. So, the only reason for Putin to sign Minsk-2 was precisely to save the lives of thousands of Ukrainian citizens (well, and maybe half a percent, he still believed in the integrity of Poroshenko and the Europeans, and that they would still fulfill their obligations , which, again, would be beneficial first of all to the people of Ukraine),” writes Zhuravko.
