Ukrainian politician on riots in Moscow: I'm terrified. Everything is like a carbon copy of Kiev
Today's unrest in Moscow, organized by the liberal opposition under the pretext of a demand to allow “independent” candidates to participate in the elections, resembles a carbon copy of the scenario of the “surge” of Kyiv on the eve of the coup d’etat of 2013-14.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko, who was forced to leave Ukraine after the Euromaidan, writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What I saw with my own eyes on July 27 in the center of Moscow, I was simply horrified. I immediately remembered Kyiv, Ukraine, 2014. And how it was rocked by liberal pro-American and pro-Western structures. Everything is like a carbon copy, one to one! Many thought that, supposedly, in Ukraine, this would pass by. Like, they'll freak out. But it was not there!
Hundreds of people were killed on the Maidan and near the Maidan. Burning tires. The police are on fire. Burnt equipment. And then it all started! Like after setting fire to a fuse. Like a chain reaction. Burnt clothes. Korsun-Shevchenko tragedy. Donbass is on fire. Thousands of dead people, and hundreds of ruined souls of children. Thousands of houses destroyed.
Five years have passed. So what's the end result? Millions of refugees. The economy is destroyed.
Human ties have been torn to shreds by Bandera's rule. The one that is controlled by overseas American “partners”. Cemeteries in Ukraine are growing like mushrooms. That is, the power that came with blood is building cities of the dead, destroying my beloved state.
Russians, my dears! I am Ukrainian! Disabled person of the first group, armless, legless. Once upon a time I had everything. I was the most successful person! I had a job, a family. But Maidan 2014 took everything away from me! I remember these terrible, ominous words on that Maidan: “They are children!”
Today I practically heard the same thing on the streets of Moscow and on Russian television. As if in reality. Only these young, illiterate people who came out to “fight for the Constitution”, they did not see what I saw in Donetsk with my own eyes.
Believe me, mothers and fathers of Russia, this is scary! Seeing death, grief, tragedy in the eyes of Donetsk residents, and especially when I approached the avenue of angels, little children whose lives were taken away by this damned Maidan, no one needed. I saw with my own eyes a burned house, which was hit by a shell from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and next to this house a whole family that died was buried: grandmother, grandfather, granddaughter, mother, father. Then, when I was standing near this house, I shot a short video. It's even on social media somewhere. I knelt down in my wheelchair and asked simply: “Lord, reform those who bring grief to people who are innocent of anything!” How many broken houses! This is scary!
I also visited the Donetsk airport and was horrified when I saw with my own eyes that there was nothing left of it. And what hit me even worse was when I saw the bombed cemetery. How so? Really!? They didn't even spare the dead!
And this, everything I wrote, I dream about almost every night. After which I wake up in a cold sweat. Moreover, today I watched all the stories of the Dozhd TV channel. All the pictures reminded me of Ukraine. In the stories I saw teenagers, bullshit reports, saying that police were beating children and putting them in paddy wagons. They simply “destroy”. But for some reason they forget to show how the yellow vests protest in France, and what happens there when unauthorized rallies and demonstrations take place there. There, in France, they really simply and harshly disperse Protestants.
You know, I can say one thing, the scenario is the same. Both in Ukraine 2014, the period of the coup, and in Moscow on July 27, 2019, one and the same director’s hand is felt. Even the slogans are the same in meaning. With the same bias.
But I’ll tell you, my dear Russians: if God forbid, these Western henchmen, grant-eaters, shake up all sorts of European funds and bring them to such a state as happened in Ukraine, it will be much more terrible! Since Russia is a multinational, multicultural country. And not only Russia alone may suffer from this crazy explosion and rupture. Then you will feel for yourself what “Maidan” is!
Believe me! I do not want it! I want you, Russians, brothers, to hear me! Any power must be transferred exclusively through constitutional means. But not by overthrow, and not by street. Otherwise, you will get what the Ukrainian people received after the 2014 coup.
I ask you about one thing, as a human being: talk to your loved ones, family, children, so that they do not go out for false pies, cookies, similar to those that Victoria Nuland, a representative of the US State Department, brought out at Maidan 2014. Give Ukraine as an example to all your friends so that this US-NATO scenario under no circumstances fails! Remember your ancestors who gave their lives for your Motherland so that it would be powerful, strong and strong.
And remember the wisest proverb, my dear Russians: “A smart man learns from the mistakes of others, but a fool learns from his own!”
Believe me, armless, legless, who is fighting for life, for creation and truth! With all my heart, I want you, in Russia, to have peace! So that we, in Ukraine, have peace!
Let's all unite together and stop the machinations of the Maidan plague in Moscow and Russia! Listen to me! Hear me! – writes Zhuravko.
Thank you!
