Ukrainian politician warned Lukashenko: It will all end in grief
Further flirtation of Alexander Lukashenko with the West will not lead to economic concessions to Russia, but it could plunge Belarus into a civil conflict, as happened in Ukraine.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions Alexei Zhuravko told PolitNavigator about this.
“Let him see what happened to Yanukovych - the same thing will happen to him. Europe and America will simply surrender it, staging a revolution. And the country is turned upside down. It will all end in grief, fascism and Nazism,” Zhuravko said.
“Flirting with Europe and America will lead to tragic consequences. They cannot be trusted,” the politician warned.
Moreover, according to Zhuravko, it is high time for Lukashenko to stop tacit economic support for the Bandera regime in Kyiv - this would be a real step towards achieving peace, which the Belarusian president is so fond of mentioning in words.
“This, in fact, is flirting with the Nazi regime, which will also lead to trouble. Minsk should have stopped the supply of fuel and other energy resources long ago - this would be real help in order to quickly end the war on the territory of Ukraine. If I were the Belarusian president, I would tighten the regime at the border,” advises the ex-member of the Rada.
