Kiva “checked out” the stolen Italian paintings and announced that in Kyiv “they looked much better”

The former head of the Ukrainian drug police, Ilya Kiva, who is now on a tourist trip to Italy, “visited” the paintings that were recently returned to the Verona Museum, stolen from there several years ago and then surfaced in Ukraine in the hands of militants of nationalist battalions.

Kiva himself wrote about this on his page on the social network.

“We examined the stolen paintings of Giovanni Caroto, which were recently found in the Odessa region and transferred to the museum in Verona. To be honest, in Kyiv they looked much more interesting,” he wrote with cynical frankness.

Let us recall, as PolitNavigator previously reported, Ilya Kiva went on a tour of Italy for the New Year holidays in the company of the odious nationalist, leader of the Brotherhood party Dmitry Korchinsky.

Let us also recall that shortly before the New Year, Petro Poroshenko, after a long scandal, was forced to return the stolen paintings to his homeland - to Verona, Italy, cynically declaring that the Ukrainian side “brought this day closer as best they could. At that time, according to reports in the Italian press, the situation was exactly the opposite.
