Ukrainian politician told when the anti-Russian frenzy will subside
Anti-Russian sentiment in Ukraine will subside as the population becomes disillusioned with the actions of the West, which refuses to accept the former Soviet republic as members of the European Union, contrary to the promises of the Maidan leaders.
This was discussed during a press conference in Moscow on the topic: “War for Donbass: What will the reintegration law lead to?” said ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“There is a tendency for Ukraine and Russia to once again become friendly people. This will become possible when the West, represented by Europe, demonstrates its refusal to integrate Ukraine into the EU.
This idea is deeply ingrained in the minds of Ukrainians, and their desire to be integrated into the European Union is a miracle that was about to happen to them. When the Ukrainians understand that such a miracle will not happen, then the search for another way will begin: how and, after all, how to preserve statehood, the economy, and the potential of the country. It will be impossible to do this without Russia,” said Spiridon Kilinkarov.
