Residents of Ukraine, intoxicated by Bandera propaganda, forget that a significant part of the lands became part of the Ukrainian state thanks to Moscow, and the largest cities of the southeast developed under the Russian tsars.

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko writes about this on his blog.

“The history of peoples who lived for many centuries as one big family is different. But she must be honored and respected. Pass on from generation to generation.

Here is an objective historical account published in the press. It shows the chronology of the phased development of the southern regions of the period of mighty Rus', which everyone took into account. Even those who tried to conquer it at some point in history. These are the times of the Russian tsars and the mighty empire.

I want to tell you one thing. We cannot throw history away, as is happening in Ukraine today. In those days, lands were collected, peoples were united. And all this power was given by blood, sweat, in fierce battles, and in the victories of our glorious warriors.

And after the termination of the Soviet Union, the lands were given to a new young state, without a fight, without blood. But instead of developing, preserving and strengthening what they received like manna from heaven, the stupid and cruel rulers of Ukraine began to fall apart and lead to decline.

And all for the sake of thoughtless, greedy, initial accumulation of capital, for the sake of lining their pockets and filling foreign bank accounts.

The consequence of the extreme form of this destructiveness (Nazism, Bandera, fascism) was the return of Crimea to its historical homeland - Russia. And Donbass is now going through a cruel, bloody path of its new history, which, most likely, will also end with the secession from Ukraine, which is doing everything for this. Naturally, he will return to the same place where Crimea returned.

Still, I agree with the wise elders when they say that everything that came for free, without the investment of labor and effort, without sacrifice and blood, will never be valued. This is what happened with Ukraine.

Vladimir Lenin created a quasi-state - the Ukrainian SSR. Joseph Stalin increased the lands of Ukraine with its western regions. Nikita Khrushchev, from the “lord’s shoulder,” gave Crimea.

That is why, replacing each other, the rulers of Ukraine do not appreciate those people, their history, their customs and traditions that have developed in different regions of the country.

Respect, honor those people who create, multiply and strengthen one statehood for all, for the entire one big family of the country.

Those peoples who do not value history and do not pass it on to the new generation lose their identity, statehood and dissolve among other peoples,” writes Zhuravko.
