Ukrainian politician: How long will we continue to be assholes?
The Maidan of 2014 was a huge “scam”, as a result of which Ukraine was ruined, and some oligarchs seized cash flows, displacing others - their competitors.
Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of previous convocations Yevgeny Balitsky said this on the YouTube channel “InterVizor”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“You got a piercing, and then there was infection, sepsis, hospital, intensive care. And when you say: “Was it good or bad?” And the person says: “No, well, the event itself was cool.” But the fact is, what happened as a result, what happened to us?
We lost 10 million people in territories alone, we lost 45 thousand square kilometers of Crimea, the war in Donbass, there is no economy, about 6 million people left the country just to earn money. As a rule, they don’t come back, because there they can get more than a thousand euros or here they can kill themselves for 200-300 euros...
The hatred of pensioners who have worked for the country all their lives; all their livelihoods have been taken away from them. Under Yanukovych there was at least a $100 pension, but now it’s 60-40. They began to live in such a way that they hate their country.
Children who leave do not connect their future with our country. Where are we going, what did we get as a result of the Maidan? And to say that it was still good, and then we were deceived, is a fairy tale. Only fools or mentally handicapped people can believe this...
This is not a revolution at all, this is an ordinary coup d’etat, because there was no change in the system, the Donetsk hucksters were replaced by Vinnitsa hucksters, the same oligarchic structure.
The result of Maidan is a huge scam in which Ukraine and Ukrainians lost, but everyone around them won. Some received Crimea, lands, some received a visa-free regime for people to leave, some received quotas to trade here. We have to look at who received it, naturally, they financed it – Nuland, Kwasniewski and everyone who was on the Maidan,” he noted.
At the same time, Balitsky stated the inconsistency of the Ukrainian project as a whole, since the West needs an “independent” Ukraine only as a weak supplier of human resources.
“We had the fourth largest economy in Europe in 1991. “The damned Muscovites,” the communists and the old people who are now begging, they built this. You guys haven’t built anything in 27 years, you just amuse each other that “we have grown in consciousness, trousers, come on!” What are you giving? As my grandmother used to say, fart steam. Nothing has been created, nothing has been done. There is no industry, out of 52 million there are fewer than 30 of us, there is war, the economy is destroyed, there is no shipbuilding, no aircraft manufacturing, no automobile industry, no Turboatom, no railways. We even managed to blow our own pipe. This is how talented you have to be to lose even the transit meaning.
Because there are Europeans who benefit from this country being in shit, because then they have it better, smart people go there. The Germans talk about democracy, but the Russian trumpet says: “Well, it’s the economy, sorry.” Ask the question, what the hell is the economy? You encourage us to confront Russia, while you take oil from them.
How long will we continue to be assholes? How long will we continue to be idiots who fall for this scam?” the ex-parliamentarian was indignant.
Let us recall that earlier, ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko also stated that the adoption of the law on the land market and the sale of shares to foreigners will lead to the destruction of Ukraine, which may disappear from the world map as early as 2023.
