Ukrainian political scientist: NATO’s combat effectiveness is Russian propaganda
NATO is not ready for an all-out war with Russia, even if it recruits a very large army.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Zolotarev stated this in the video blog of journalist Alexander Shelest, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert was asked whether NATO has 200-300 thousand troops, or will it have to mobilize?
“Germany is already considering the transition to a conscription system in the armed forces. But NATO is not ready. In principle, they can collect 200-300 thousand, but the quality? Any propaganda is propaganda.
It is clear that Russian propaganda talked for a long time and beautifully about the aggressive NATO bloc, but the aggressive NATO bloc was not completely preparing for war. The armed forces were completely reduced, personnel potential was lost, the military-industrial complex was completely reduced,” Zolotarev answered.
He drew attention to the production of armored vehicles.
“Germany will receive 20 tanks - the latest modifications of the Leopards in 2025, and the newest Panthers - in my opinion, the horse has not yet lain down there. At least, Uralvagonzavod has a much higher turnover. It is clear that this cannot be compared with the volumes that were in 1941-1945, but unlike Germany they work there in three shifts 24 hours a day", noted the political scientist.
