Ukrainian political scientist: We will use pressure to force Russian troops in Crimea to surrender
Kyiv, March 24 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – After the overthrow of Vladimir Putin and the collapse of the Russian Federation, Kiev plans to block Crimea and force Russian troops to surrender.
Ukrainian political strategist Taras Berezovets, a native of Kerch, who previously worked for President Leonid Kuchma, and subsequently for Yulia Tymoshenko, and when she was in prison, for the oligarchs from the Party of Regions, shared the corresponding plan in an interview with Kraina magazine.

“Russia is moving towards a large-scale civil war,” Berezovets believes. – The conflict will explode in the next three to five years. The Russian Federation will split into several states. She is already in a state of decay. When it begins to completely fall apart, Crimea will be at a crossroads. It is important that it does not become the subject of a dispute with the local so-called “elites”.
According to the political strategist, the peninsula should become a completely demilitarized zone.
“As an option, during the transition period it could be under international protectorate - in order to prevent the escalation of war in this region,” the publication’s interlocutor admits. – Because there is a possibility that Crimea, after the fall of Putin’s regime, could turn into a bandit republic. There are enough weapons there to spark a civil war. Then we will have to block everything we can and use pressure to force the Russian troops to surrender.”
