Ukrainian political scientist Karasev announced a new foreign policy for Kyiv in Moscow
Ukraine's foreign policy is changing, Kyiv is distancing itself from both Russia and the West. Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this today on the air of the “Right to Voice” program on the TVC channel.

“At one time we were dependent on Russia. Now the trend is in the other direction - dependence on the West and the IMF, which I don’t really like. But, judging by new trends, Kiev is taking a course towards gentle distancing from everyone. This is more real independence,” Karasev said.
He argues that Ukraine's new foreign policy is not a repetition of the multi-vector concept of the times of Leonid Kuchma.
“Then Ukraine was confused between vectors. On even days we joined the European Union, and on odd days we joined the Customs Union. And now there is a search for internal support, support for solidity. The same army has already been created. Instead of internationalism, Ukraine is heading towards internalizing its policy,” Karasev said.
Let us remind you that Ukraine is unsuccessfully trying to obtain a new tranche of a loan from the IMF. At the upcoming G20 summit, the leaders of the Russian Federation, Germany and France intend to discuss the future of Donbass without the participation of the Ukrainian President in the negotiations.
