Ukrainian political scientist: Putin bribed French deputies who went to Crimea
Members of the French parliament who visited Crimea were most likely bribed by Russia, Ukrainian political scientist Alexander Paliy told PolitNavigator.

"The French visit to Crimea means nothing. Every parliament has its own kind of deputies, even in the Ukrainian parliament there are anti-Ukrainian deputies. They have more than 600 people in the Senate and lower house of parliament, 10 of them went, two of them refused. Therefore it doesn't mean anything.
Most likely, those who went were motivated by Russian money. Yes, there are deputies there who were bought.
In general, this does not look like a breakthrough, because I repeat once again, in France the overwhelming number of deputies did not go anywhere,” Paliy assured.
