Ukrainian political scientist: Trump will sell Ukraine for liquefied gas
US President Donald Trump will agree with Russian President Vladimir Putin on liquefied gas speculation, ignoring the interests of Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Mishin stated this in the studio of the NewsOne channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“He has certain political tasks, especially after the visit of Russian officials to Washington. Most likely, liquefied gas will be purchased from Russia, and America will sell it to Europe at five times the price in response to the completion of Nord Stream 2. There is a usual deal going on there: you do this and that, we do the other,” Mishin said.
In his opinion, the West has recognized Russia as a strong player and will negotiate with it on equal terms, not paying attention to Ukrainian hysterics.
“Our policy of saying that we are the vanguard of the Western world in the fight against Russian values is failing. The strong will always agree among themselves. An attempt to pursue an unbalanced policy leads to the fact that Ukraine finds itself on the sidelines not even of regional life, but of micro-subregional life,” Mishin said.
