Ukrainian political scientist: “In Moscow they are rubbing their hands – the UOC has sat on two chairs”
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Zolotarev, who previously played the role of a balanced and critical person towards the nationalists, in the current conditions of the defeat of the UOC, has found no other way than to argue that such actions of Kyiv “play into the hands of Moscow.”
Zolotarev said this on air on the channel of Kyiv propagandist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Yes, the UOC is now very vulnerable, yes, if the state attacks, it can actually drive it underground and liquidate it. But it can also turn into a catacomb Church. Sometimes such a situation of persecution and persecution benefits the Church, because they are completely carried away by the game - “A respectable Lord for respectable gentlemen.”

According to him, everything that happens only plays into the hands of the Russian Orthodox Church.

Therefore, the UOC is not to be envied now, and it is clear that this campaign will only gain momentum for now. Even if in Kyiv they decide to pause, apparently, after they saw that the blitzkrieg did not work out, and on the eve of Easter they decided to slow down, then in the regions it will only gain momentum,” the political scientist is sure.
