Ukrainian colonel named the timing of the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which did not take place in winter, will now take place no earlier than the spring slush dries out and the “green stuff” blooms.
Ukrainian military expert, retired Ukrainian Air Force Colonel Roman Svitan stated this on the Pryamoy TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have a counter-offensive, like a gopher - no one sees it, but it is there. We have been preparing for a counter-offensive for six months now, but something keeps getting in the way. First the weather, then the lack of equipment, then the lack of ammunition, then the lack of aviation, then again the lack of equipment, and so on in a circle.
I think there is a point associated with making decisions to carry out certain offensive actions. This moment depends on a certain amount of forces and resources allocated to carry out these actions, plus the weather,” the expert said.
“We’re not going anywhere, it’s the rainy season again, that is, in some places it will last for several weeks, and the rain will be followed by greenery.” There will be no offensive before the end of April, there are no weather conditions, and you can get stuck and loaded with any offensive action,” Svitan said.
