The Ukrainian ambassador spoke about the schemes by which Kyiv receives weapons from the United States

The diplomat spoke about this in an interview with Radio Liberty.
“I can only say that all contracts that exist are within the framework of international law. And Ukraine, as a country that properly complies with export control requirements, has the right to purchase weapons. Their list is wider, but is limited to tactical types of weapons, including lethal ones. Therefore, it was strange for me to hear from some of our politicians that America does not provide weapons. America provides weapons, but these weapons are operational-tactical.”
According to Chaly, US President Donald Trump will sign a bill by the end of the year to provide Ukraine with $50 million for lethal weapons. This bill has already received approval in Congress and the Senate.
The Ambassador is confident that such a step is a political decision, and this decision will be made taking into account the national interests of the United States.
Earlier it was reported that information about the sale of weapons by the United States to Ukraine was confirmed by the director of AirTronic USA (Texas, USA), Richard Wediver. In addition, some American publications indicated that Trump is absolutely not against supplying Ukraine with modern American weapons, but on the condition that Kyiv pays for them.
