Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria Alexander Shcherba sharply criticized the Austrian newspaper Die Presse, which the day before published the material “Yalta: the favorite city of wealthy Russians.”

The indignation of the Ukrainian official was caused by the fact that the newspaper, while describing the beauty of Yalta, did not mention the theses of Ukrainian propaganda about the “occupation” of Crimea, Ukraine’s ban on foreigners visiting the peninsula without the consent of Kiev, as well as about the alleged mass repressions in Crimea.

At Shcherba’s request, the newspaper published his statement, where he scolds Austrian journalists.

“This article is like a message from a parallel reality... Writing about Crimea in seductive tones, without mentioning criminal proceedings and a possible ban on entry into Ukraine, which entails entering Crimea through Russian territory, is not just wrong, but also irresponsible.” , insists the Ukrainian official.
