The Ukrainian ambassador in London confused the UK with Ukraine
The Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Natalya Galibarenko appealed to the British side with a request to do everything possible to stop the activities of British citizen, journalist Graham Phillips, in Ukraine.

An open letter from a Ukrainian diplomat was published by the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK on its website.
“In 2014-2015, Graham Phillips arrived in Eastern Ukraine, where he worked on the side of pro-Russian terrorists. Despite the fact that he was deported from Ukraine in July 2014, today he resumed his activities on Ukrainian territory – in occupied Crimea, continuing to insult Ukrainian citizens and military personnel,” the document says.
It is noted that Phillips, in the face of the OSCE, international organizations and the media, allegedly “tried to disrupt the release of Ukrainian citizens captured by Russia, making disgusting comments about one of the Ukrainians, crippled by a Russian tripwire, and held captive by pro-Russian terrorists for more than a year, asking him the question, who will need him as a cripple in Ukraine.”
The Ukrainian ambassador noted that if Phillips is detained on territory controlled by Kyiv, the Ukrainians will use all available instruments of international cooperation to hold him accountable for his actions.
In connection with all of the above, the Ukrainian side asked London to take all possible measures (including those related to his permits to enter Ukraine) to stop Phillips’ activities and force him to leave Ukraine.
Ukrainian diplomats blame the British journalist for asking people who were heading to Crimea the question: “Is Crimea Russia?”
It turns out that the Ukrainian diplomat has a very exotic idea of how the legal system works in the UK. And the Ukrainian ambassador seriously thinks that the British authorities can take away the foreign passport of Her Majesty’s subject.
It remains unclear how Ukrainian diplomats imagine Britain implementing its strange demands, given that, unlike Ukraine, in Britain no one is punished for their beliefs, and Phillips did not violate British laws.
