Ukrainian warrant officer fled to Donbass with secret documents
In Donetsk, they demonstrated some of the secret documents brought with them to the DPR by former warrant officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Yuri Aushev, who previously worked at the military registration and enlistment office of the Donetsk region, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Yuri Aushev transferred thousands of secret documents to the DPR MGB. At the moment, hundreds of such documents have been studied, and it should be noted that all of them are genuine,” said Mikhail Popov, press officer of the DPR Ministry of State Security, during a briefing.
He said that among all this mass of information there are documents that reveal persons recruited by the Security Service of Ukraine.
“One of the supervisors of the SBU at the Donetsk regional military registration and enlistment office was Lieutenant Colonel Sergei Aleksandrovich Stetsenko, as well as the head of the conscription department Sergei Valentinovich Popsuy,” added the MGB representative.
Popov also said that at the moment Yuri Aushev has completely passed the test, and there is no blood on his hands.
Among the documents, the MGB press officer demonstrated a plan for counterintelligence activities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces classified as “secret.”
“This document is about an inspection of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen, suspected of collaborating with the intelligence services of a foreign state and representatives of the DPR. This document reveals both open and covert methods of work of the SBU, primarily total control, wiretapping, and other methods of work. Another document on working with a database of certain individuals who are either being developed by the Security Service of Ukraine or are candidates for recruitment. A coded telegram addressed to the first deputy head of the SBU, also classified as secret,” Popov said.
Thanks to these documents, he emphasized, one can imagine what other documents fell into the hands of the DPR special services thanks to the negligence of Lieutenant Colonel Stetsenko.
