Ukrainian producer dreams of blogger Dud becoming president of Russia
Liberal blogger Yuri Dud, who fled to Georgia, could become a new politician in Russia.
Producer Alexander Rodnyansky, who has been making money in Russia for many years, stated this on the Ukraine-24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a man who is an absolute politician. Looking at things realistically, in my eyes he has both credibility and electoral potential. This is Yuri Dud. Never once raised a single question. He speaks toughly and speaks honestly. At the same time, he is an absolute Russian patriot. He criticizes the regime in the harshest way. He was not afraid to talk to Navalny. I did several powerful interviews with him. Not only with him, with all the opposition leaders. At the same time, he speaks with interesting people representing different segments of Russian culture. I had a conversation with him. He is a man of unconditional impeccable reputation.
He has this potential, he can become a great political leader. It has potential. He never said anything that would make him ashamed today. He was always against aggression, against the seizure of Crimea,” Rodnyansky said.
After the start of the special operation in Ukraine, Dud has been leading an active anti-Russian campaign on his social networks. Russian experts have long pointed out that Dud is financed from abroad by participating in advertising for famous Western brands.
The materials of his YouTube channel “vDud” are recognized as extremist in Belarus. No similar measures have been taken against Dudu in Russia yet. Only recently the public organization Safe Internet League demanded that he be recognized as a foreign agent.
