Ukrainian professor voiced terrible propaganda about the “Holodomor” and the Cossacks
Ukrainians are deceiving themselves by saying that the Russians are to blame for the “Holodomor,” and that the Cossacks defended “independence.”
Ukrainian historian, professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Alexander Mayboroda stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“To improve yourself, you need to be honest with yourself and your history. At one of the conferences I listened to terrible criticism addressed to me when I said - yes, the Holodomor was organized by the Kremlin, but we committed it ourselves on the ground. Who was on these commissions? Who wrote denunciations against each other? – said Mayboroda.
“We are raising the Cossacks on our shield, although everyone understands that they were an absolutely socially backward stratum. They pulled the country back, they were the ones who pulled it back to Russia. And in this regard, in our historical memory we apologize them, especially Zaporozhye,” added the “correct” Svidomo historian.
