Ukrainian prosecutor declared Poland, Romania and Hungary a threat to national security
The issuance of Hungarian passports to Ukrainian citizens in Transcarpathia threatens the country's national security.
Former Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Nikolai Golomsha stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He notes that the situation has already gone beyond the scope of a diplomatic scandal and the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine should be convened on this issue.
“On the agenda is a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, because this situation not only in Hungary, but also in Poland and Romania threatens the national security of Ukraine. Klimkin and our Foreign Ministry must choose a principled position - this is the expulsion from the borders of Ukraine of such an official who said not to notify the Ukrainian authorities that they had received Hungarian passports. We must react fundamentally, we must not turn around, think, stick our heads in the sand. Such facts do not smell of any diplomacy,” Golomsha said.
"Reedus" noted that the Ukrainian authorities announced their intention to expel the Hungarian consul for issuing Hungarian passports to Ukrainian citizens in Transcarpathia.
And the Ukrainian radical organization “National Corps”, founded on the basis of the neo-Nazi regiment “Azov”, held a picket in front of the building Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kyiv.
