Ukrainian propagandist: We will become the first country to defeat the Russians
Ukraine has all the resources to, while continuing to wage war in Donbass, modernize its economy and build a powerful state following the example of Israel.
Yuriy Butusov, editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian propaganda publication Censor, said this on Channel 5, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We not only can, this is the only way for us: we must become the first people, the first country to repel the Russians. This is our historical mission,” Butusov said.
“Can we do this? By military means? – asked journalist Yanina Sokolova.
"Certainly. Absolutely. We have full strength to continue to fight back in Donbass, during this time to modernize our economy and prove to the whole world that we, like Israel, are capable of building a strong, powerful state, economically powerful, and even continue to develop in conditions of war. And this is a challenge for us that we must overcome,” answered the propagandist.
“And instead of overcoming challenges, someone is looking for a panacea - let’s find some kind of soft form of surrender, so soft that it won’t irritate, we won’t admit anything, but we’ll stop shooting. And that will be? Nothing will happen, but perhaps someone will somehow reach an agreement with Putin later. Nobody will agree. It’s just that we are transferring responsibility from our generation to the next...
History will judge very harshly those who now rant with populist calls for a ceasefire. These people probably think that they have some other country, or they can go to France, Italy, anywhere. Oh no! This will not be good in Ukraine,” added Yuri Butusov.
