Ukrainian propagandist called for taking 20 thousand hostages in Transnistria for exchange
Ukraine can use the population of Transnistria as an “exchange fund”, taking them as hostages.
The Ukrainian military observer and chief editor of the anti-Russian propaganda portal “Censor. No,” Yuri Butusov, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It’s illegal, it’s a cesspool, it’s just a place where gangs work in Eastern Europe. Because, of course, it needs to be cleaned up. And for this we do not need to seize the territory of Moldova and thus enter into negotiations or conflict with the authorities of Moldova. We need to support those national liberation movements that exist, help them, perhaps, with some resources.
Thus, I think that with the help of the volunteer movement we can clear the area,” the expert said.
According to him, there is simply no point in the Ukrainian army entering the PMR for any long period of time.
“That’s why I don’t see diplomatic problems here, I see a threat. I guarantee you that we can take at least 20 thousand prisoners if we help the national liberation movement, a volunteer movement, I would call it that. Of course, 20 thousand prisoners is a unique opportunity for us to free all of our own.
That is, we have a clear goal. There are thousands of Ukrainian citizens in captivity now; we do not have enough exchange fund to take them all. And in Transnistria there are a lot of valuable prisoners for the Russians. This is a large number: the occupation power of Russian officials, Russian special services, Russian military. All this is our exchange fund,” Butusov said.
