Ukrainian propagandist: Russia is behaving very brazenly
The Russian Federation is not ready to make concessions to Ukraine and the West on the Donbass issue.
Ukrainian propagandist Sergei Garmash, who fled Donetsk, stated this on air on “Zik,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia is behaving very brazenly, very openly. I think that this is a reaction to the initiative of Ukraine and the United States on peacekeepers, which do not suit Russia, this format of peacekeepers. It wants its own peacekeepers, who will, in fact, preserve the conflict, who will simply protect the OSCE. No real action will happen,” the journalist believes.
He believes that through the elections of the heads of the DPR and LPR in November 2018, the Russian Federation is trying to create an entity for direct negotiations between Ukraine and the Donbass republics.
“Russia shows that you are not going anywhere, we will hold elections. Russia insists that Kyiv negotiates directly with the DPR/LPR. Accordingly, negotiations require a subject of negotiations. They create the subject. Everything that is being done now is being done demonstratively, being done in spite of the West, in spite of Ukraine. Russia has become a horn and shows that it will not agree to any agreements now,” said Garmash.
