Ukrainian propagandist is indignant: amid talk of war and sanctions, Yuzhmash sold launch vehicles to Russia
The Dnepropetrovsk plant for the production of rocket and space technology, the Southern Machine-Building Plant, signed an agreement with Russia for the supply of 12 Zenit launch vehicles.

Ukrainian military propagandist and employee of the Inter TV channel Roman Bochkala reported this on his Facebook page.
“What about sanctions? The explanation that rockets are needed “for space exploration for peaceful purposes” is a pathetic attempt to hide behind chips of a log. Where there is Russia, there can be no peaceful goals. We are talking about the expansion of the aggressor in outer space. By strengthening the enemy, we ourselves are preparing the ground for the next big exchange, the victim of which Ukraine could become,” Bochkala said indignantly.
According to Bochkala, the plant operates only one day a week, and Yuzhmash’s accounts are under arrest for debts to the state in the amount of 40 million hryvnia.
“After the arrest of accounts, Yuzhmash signed contracts that supposedly should help the industry rise. Let's take a closer look at them. Americans were named among future partners. But their roots are 100% Russian. S7 Group is a Russian holding that includes ten companies. Among them are S7 Airlines, S7 Tour, Globus, S7 Ticket, S7 space transport systems and others,” he continues to be indignant.
Bochkala focused on the fact that the plant’s deputy is “a certain Serbin, who is an active employee of the Security Service of Ukraine.” At the same time, no one notices the “harm” at the enterprise.
“And it's disgusting. And no one sees this? For example, the plant has a landfill measuring 6 thousand hectares. Instead of testing, crops are grown on it. Land is leased. Standard scheme. If you calculate by market standards, then this is more than 600 thousand dollars a year. Where are they? Yuzhmash previously owned a whole arsenal of unique technologies and production facilities and was capable of producing the world's best rocket engines. Is all this really interesting only to Russia?” – exclaims Roman Bochkala.
