Ukrainian missile system exploded at combat positions
As a result of a manufacturing defect, an explosion occurred in the forward positions of the Ukrainian group in the Donbass of the Stugna-P anti-tank missile system. Four servicemen were injured.
This was reported by Ivan Filiponenko, an officer of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, the incident occurred in the 10th battalion of the 59th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“The command of the brigade appointed a commission, which included, among other things, specialists from the manufacturer. During the investigation, a manufacturing defect of the missile system was revealed. In this regard, the six complexes put into the formation were returned to the Luch design bureau,” said Ivan Filiponenko.
