A Ukrainian intelligence officer spilled the beans: The army was destroyed not by “agents of Moscow”, but by greedy “titular Kermans”
The main reason for the destruction of the Ukrainian army after the collapse of the USSR is not the machinations of Moscow’s agents, but the greed of Kyiv officials, ex-head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Nikolai Malomuzh admitted on the Kiev TV channel.
According to him, missile systems, tanks, and aircraft were also for sale.

“Our leaders, in contrast to all the recommendations of the military, intelligence services, government officials and the expert community, practically ruined it all, did not accept the advice, plans and, especially, the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on defense and security. Everything was on sale - tanks, missile systems, and airplanes. All this went abroad. Our army did not receive all this; training centers and bases were destroyed. Modern equipment did not arrive, and it got to the point where our tanks stood in the trenches and fired directly from the turret. Nobody moved and nothing happened,” Malomuzh said.
