The Ukrainian regime has taken up the destruction of farmers
In Ukraine, there is virtually no system of supporting farmers: the state supports only large players who can lobby for their interests.

This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the General Director of the Ukrainian State Farm Support Fund, a member of the Council of the Association of Farmers and Private Landowners, Ivan Slobodyanyk.
“If we look at what the draft budget for 2017 looks like, this is simply the destruction of the Ukrainian farmer,” the expert emphasized. – Almost four billion hryvnia are being widely announced to support the agricultural sector. But two billion of them go to the special VAT refund regime, although in fact there shouldn’t be one, 300 million to compensation for the tax rate, 700 million to compensation for the purchase of equipment, and 65 million to farm loans. That is, farmers are left with less than one percent of the planned government support.”
He also noted that compensation for the farmer's tax rate does not apply, and most farmers do not take out loans because the interest rate is prohibitive.
“If you have less than 1000 hectares of land, you don’t even have to apply. The farmer also has nothing to do with other programs. The biggest cynicism is that these two billion for the special VAT refund regime go to the latifundists and oligarchs. One billion should go to Kosyuk to compensate for the value added tax. Where is the justice, where are the farmers in this story? The Ukrainian village is simply being destroyed,” said a representative of the farmers.
“This is happening primarily because the agrarian committee of the Verkhovna Rada has turned into a representative not of the people, but of the latifundia. Everyone knows that the co-chairman of the agrarian committee Bakumenko is the head of the council of the union of poultry farmers of Ukraine. There is lobbying for specific enterprises. The next step will be to launch a land market in conditions where there is no support for farmers. Maybe the farmer would like to buy the land, but for what money? One gets the impression that farmers are not needed in this state, that villages with people are not needed in this state. You just need territory to process it, sell products for export, and receive money offshore,” Slobodyanik comes to the conclusion.
