Ukrainian Russophobe calls for Kyiv to be returned to nuclear power status
Veteran of the Ukrainian nationalist movement Levko Lukyanenko, who participated in the collapse of the USSR, calls on the Ukrainian government to begin producing nuclear weapons.
He said this during a broadcast on the Rada TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The violation of the Budapest Memorandum greatly offends Ukrainians. When Ukraine surrendered its nuclear weapons in exchange for the security of its borders, but it was not provided with this, then what remains for Ukrainians but to return to the production of nuclear weapons?
This is simply a mockery of Ukraine when an IAEA commission arrived and went to Ukrainian nuclear power plants to see if Kyiv was producing enriched uranium for the production of nuclear weapons.
It was necessary to not let them in and give them an ultimatum, let them turn to England and the United States to force Russia to leave Ukrainian territory,” summed up Levko Lukyanenko.
