The Ukrainian market is classified as the Third World
Ukraine, five years after the victory of Euromaidan, is a market of a Third World country with high risks for foreign investors.
This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by Timur Chmeruk, partner of the international investment company “Base capital management”, adviser on attracting foreign investment to the Kherson Regional State Administration (2013-2014), a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As sad as it is, and as much as we would like to become a leader in economics, we are now a Third World market. And this implies a certain degree of risk when an investor invests his resources, his money, in Ukraine. If he gets more risk, then he should turn around the money faster here. We have a high-risk market, and it is dangerous for investors,” the expert said.
