A Ukrainian website reported that a high-ranking official from the SBU was behind the persecution of the Vesti newspaper.
Today, May 28, a “spontaneous” action of a couple of dozen people against the Vesti newspaper gathered near the capital’s Gulliver business center.

The newspaper's website reports this.
According to the publication’s website, young people of school and student age, as well as several pensioners, were holding posters with “anti-news” content.
It is noteworthy that the protesters simply “dumped” their employers, since they only lasted... for a few minutes of protest.
Having shouted swear words into the loudspeaker and unfolded previously prepared slogans (made as carbon copies and thrown into the trash can), the masked protesters also made a comment “by chance” to “their tame” journalists who happened to be on the spot. In total, the action lasted no more than 15 minutes.
In the end, the young people lit fires and began shouting insults at the media. Seeing this, the pensioners hastily hurried to leave. The hooligans threw lit flares at the doors of the building, as well as under cars, which almost caused a fire, and quickly ran away.
According to sources on the website “Procurator’s Truth” in law enforcement agencies, the head of one of the departments of the Kyiv SBU, Vitaly Shevchenko, is behind the organization of the “action” against the Vesti newspaper. He is one of the curators of radical neo-Nazi organizations in the capital’s secret service structure, and today’s event is Shevchenko’s attempt to take revenge on the journalists who accused him of protecting the lawlessness of far-right organizations.
It is worth noting that the “participants” of the paid rally turned out to be not only non-executive, but also frankly worthless conspirators - right after the flash mob “ordered by the SBU” ended, the “activists” lined up to receive money.
