Ukrainian showman boasts: He ruined the company, but I don’t work with Russia
Ukrainian showman and TV presenter Dmitry Chekalkin boasted that he refused Russian contracts, but lost 70% of his income. He stated this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, having lost the Russian market, he had to fire employees who supported his choice.

“At one time I made an absolutely conscious choice - I refused any concerts, tours or my programs on Russian radio stations. But I simply lost more than 70% of my company's turnover. All normal people supported my choice, I didn’t have any disputes about this, even with my employees, whom I had to lay off and leave without pay,” said Chekalkin.
