Ukrainian showman is outraged: “Crimean children don’t want to wear embroidered shirts”
The Ukrainian authorities have forgotten about Crimea, the patriots there feel abandoned, their children are dressed in tunics and caps instead of embroidered shirts.
TV presenter and showman-comedian Sergei Pritula stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There is a huge pain there for the patriotic Ukrainians in Crimea, because Crimea has disappeared from the agenda. In general, the issue of Crimea has been neutralized; the authorities write a lot about Donbass. And Crimea disappeared. It is not heard in the news, it is not heard in the president’s statements. This question can be raised from the parliamentary rostrum, because there are several Crimean Tatars among the deputies. But this is not enough.
We must realize that the Russian propaganda machine destroys brains very quickly. A woman sent me a photo - 2013, a child at school wearing a wreath and embroidered shirt, 2014 - cap, tunic, star on his head.
It really infuriates me when I was driving around the Kherson region, and I heard very poorly “Radio Ukraine FM”, where there is XNUMX% Ukrainian-language content, but I can hear Russian FM radio stations perfectly well. I know what budgets were in local radio stations. They could at least try to compete.
I am a citizen of Ukraine, I have a family, children, I want them to grow up with a different value system than the one that we inherited from the USSR. You can regularly hear from people of the older generation about what kind of country they screwed up, how good it was there, the milk was in triangles... This nostalgia gives me an incredible feeling of disgust and indignation,” said Pritula.
