A Ukrainian sniper killed the defender of Donbass. Strike back
As a result of targeted fire opened by a Ukrainian sniper, one serviceman of the People's Militia of the Lugansk People's Republic was killed.
This is stated in the emergency message of the LPR National News Service, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today at 13:45, Ukrainian militants, on the orders of the war criminal Postupalsky, from the positions of the 3rd battalion of the 24th brigade in the area of the settlement of Kalinovo, where we previously recorded reconnaissance by an unmanned aerial vehicle, opened sniper fire on our positions,” the message says.
As a result of sniper fire, one defender of Donbass was killed.
“We express our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased hero of the Republic,” the department added.
The command of the Ukrainian “Joint Forces Operation”, in turn, announced losses - one Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman “was blown up by an unknown enemy device, receiving a wound incompatible with life.”
Another received a gunshot shrapnel wound. His condition is assessed by doctors as moderate. The Ukrainian side claims that the defenders of the Donbass republics opened fire on the punitive forces using grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
