Ukrainian special forces are preparing for a brutal suppression of Maidan-3 (VIDEO)
Kyiv, March 30 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – In Kyiv they are afraid to repeat the fate of Somalia after Maidan-3, but they believe that the military will save Ukraine from new shocks.
This opinion was expressed during the round table “Coup d’etat as an instrument of unconventional war: history of use, threats and challenges of the Ukrainian present” by Roman Mashovets, director of the military-political sector of the Center for Defense Reform.

“Communicating with Western partners and with guys from special operations forces, everyone comes to the same opinion: a possible or impossible third Maidan or a coup d’etat is beneficial only to one side - the Kremlin,” the expert noted. “If this surge happens, if, God forbid, this tragedy happens, then, probably (I don’t want to offend the second Sudan, which lives a little worse than us) I don’t want to level all our achievements to Somalia or Sudan.”
At the same time, the analyst thanked the head of the Special Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sergei Krivonos, who was present at the round table, for his speech and expressed confidence that his people “will be able to save the situation at a critical moment,” and also “will not allow such things to happen.”
