Ukrainian court seized tens of millions in bank accounts of Minister Yanukovych
The court seized the bank accounts of former Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Tabachnik, which were opened in Ukrainian banks.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine reported this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“During the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings, accounts opened in Ukrainian banks belonging to the requested person were seized for a total amount of more than 32 million hryvnia,” the Prosecutor General’s Office said in a statement.
At the same time, according to the GPU, Tabachnik’s bank accounts and other assets abroad were not seized
It is also reported that since September 9, 2015, the GPU has been carrying out a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings, where Dmitry Tabachnik has the status of a suspect. But for now the investigation has been suspended due to the search for him.
Let us remind you that the former Minister of Education of Ukraine Dmitry Tabachnik was put on the wanted list in the summer of 2015. According to law enforcement officials, he is wanted under Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (embezzlement, embezzlement of property or taking possession of it through abuse of official position).
Tabachnik is accused of fraud related to the purchase of textbooks at inflated prices, as well as with the property of the Ministry of Education.
