“The specified assistance consisted of providing DPR militants with transportation services, both of their personnel to illegal checkpoints that were set up in the Donetsk region by DPR representatives, and in the delivery of food, household items, and medicines to the militants. At the same time, he actively supported the ideological and political views of representatives of the DPR regarding the separation of the Donetsk region from Ukraine, while facilitating them in their deliberate illegal, criminal terrorist activities,” the prosecution alleged.
Ukrainian investigators again managed to obtain from the accused “a sincere confession of guilt and repentance for what he had done.”
As a carbon copy of other cases, an agreement was concluded between the accused and the prosecutor to admit the charges, according to which the accused must fully admit his guilt and contribute to the pre-trial investigation, and in return, as a result of a court verdict, receives a pre-agreed punishment of 3 years in prison with probation for a period of 1 year. Previously, he received the same amount by court verdict and “separatist,” according to investigators, who fought with weapons in his hands.
