Ukrainian court found Parubiy’s actions “illegal”
The Kyiv District Administrative Court overturned the ban imposed by Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andrei Parubiy on business trips of deputies during plenary weeks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in the press service of the court.
“The District Administrative Court of the city of Kiev found unlawful and canceled paragraph three of paragraph 4 of the Order of the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine “On certain issues of respect for rights, performance of duties and strengthening the responsibility of a people’s deputy of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” which refers to the fact that business trips are not carried out people's deputies in the weeks reserved for plenary sessions of parliament,” the statement said.
The court found Parubiy’s actions in preparing and sending a letter, which was denied approval for business trips of Rada deputies, to be unlawful. The consideration of the relevant case lasted since March 2018.
