In the part of the former Donetsk region controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a local pensioner was in the dock, who, driven to despair, decided to earn a slight increase to her meager pension by making and selling moonshine.
The old woman sold a homemade alcoholic drink in her apartment to residents of the same building for 30 UAH. for half a liter. (This price is significantly lower for similar products in the store, but the pensioner’s underground business was quickly shut down, since someone informed the relevant authorities, and the figurehead, already under the control of tax inspectors, twice purchased a bottle of moonshine, for which he was prosecuted criminal case against an old woman).
For the sale of two bottles of moonshine, Artyomovsky City Court sentenced the pensioner to a stiff fine of 17 thousand UAH, which exceeds her total pension for more than 1 year.
What the old woman will now need to trade so that the executive service does not sell her apartment to pay for the fine, the court did not specify.
