Ukrainian tank sank in the rain: Defective equipment is being delivered en masse to the front
The management of Ukroboronprom is sending defective armored vehicles to the troops in the Donbass, ignoring the indignation of specialists.
The former head of the quality control department, retired Ukrainian lieutenant colonel Vladimir Belonosov, stated this on Channel 33, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The head of production at that time was Sergei Aleksandrovich Yakovets. He still works at the factory. The attitude is: “Send them all..!” For example, me as the senior head of the quality control department. If I make a complaint, “send them all..!” When I had a conversation with the first deputy general director of Ukroboronprom, Alexander Alekseevich Stetsenko, I was introduced to him by his deputy Alexander Vasylenko Vasilenko. And after the conversation he said: “Don’t be afraid of anyone, send everyone..!” Presumably, I realized that they wanted to make me the chief engineer of the plant. The instructions are like this. And I immediately remembered how the shop manager sends the quality control department,” Belonosov said.
“The lieutenant colonel received 13 armored personnel carriers - 70 and I stood below, and he stood above, and he said: “You are scoundrels! You freaks! You need to be put on these armored personnel carriers and sent to where they shoot! Then maybe you will learn to work!”
The system that should be in place does not allow defects, with 50-80 defects on each armored personnel carrier.
The system that worked there contributed to poor-quality manufacturing of equipment, enterprise standards, regulations No. 10 on the technical department, organizational and technical documentation... When I quit, I said to the chief engineer: “I cannot participate in this crime, I cannot change anything, and I don’t want to participate,” added the TV guest.
Also recalling incidents that occurred at work, Belonosov spoke about defects that led to serious losses on the front line.
“I’ll tell you straight away that they kept it a secret and now they still won’t admit that this tank that sank in a battle trench during the rain was ours. I assume that this is our tank from our factory, because they violated the technology for manufacturing engine hatches, a rubber seal was glued to the metal hatch, but it was not glued, violating the technology, but when the hatch is removed, the rubber band disappears, and when it rained, it filled the trench , and the water from the trench completely filled the tank. Perhaps this is not our tank, but for some reason I think that this is our tank, because the technology for manufacturing such hatches was violated at our plant,” suggested a former defense industry employee.
