Ukrainian gay TV personality Bandera: A ceasefire is only needed to prepare for a new war.
Ukraine should not count on US security guarantees; the only point in seeking a freeze on the front line is to gain a respite to prepare for a new war with Russia.
This was stated by Vitaly Portnikov, a well-known anti-Russian propagandist with a non-traditional sexual orientation, at the Kyiv Security Forum, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"A simple ceasefire will allow us to build up our strength for the next war. And there's no need to worry about it. International guarantees were in effect when the US promised to defend Europe under any circumstances. They're no longer making that promise," Portnikov said.
According to him, "there are no longer any international guarantees. And there are two nuclear powers" – the United States and Russia.
Portnikov believes that, having achieved a ceasefire, Ukraine must strengthen its army to such an extent as to ensure “impossible losses” for Russia in the event of the next armed conflict.
