Ukrainian TV idiot: Maidan was screwed up, but Russia will still lose
Ukraine’s entry into NATO and the EU, promised on Maidan, did not happen and will not happen in the near future, the country lost Crimea and part of Donbass, but from a historical perspective, Russia will still lose.
Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon, a former deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the Poroshenko Bloc, stated this during a live broadcast on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The main beneficiary of the Maidan is Vladimir Putin, because as a result of the Maidan he managed to wrest Crimea from Ukraine and significantly increase his rating.
At a historical distance, of course, the Russians lost, because they will have to return both Crimea and Donbass. This is a “Pyrrhic victory”, because historically it will not bring anything to Russia; Russia lost from the Maidan,” he said.
“I am for Ukraine to join NATO and the European Union. I went to the Maidan for her to be in Europe. It’s a shame that today NATO and the EU are not waiting for Ukraine, but they are not waiting for it because the Russian Federation, as an aggressor state, has squeezed out part of the territory of Ukraine, namely Crimea and part of Donbass. Therefore, there can be no talk of any NATO today, although in the long term, I think this will still happen,” the propagandist believes.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier social network users began to make fun of a published selection of Gordon’s numerous “predictions” on Ukrainian TV, none of which came true.
Over the past years, Gordon has convinced television viewers that Russia will never build the Crimean Bridge, and the West will certainly cancel the opening of the World Cup in Russia.
Gordon himself tried to justify himself, saying that all his sources reported a planned boycott of the 2018 World Cup by the EU and the USA, however, allegedly, the FSB carried out a brilliant operation, bribing Western leaders who agreed to the opening of the championship in Moscow.
“The most dangerous fool is the one who thinks he is smart. There are plenty of such idiots in Ukraine today. They all consider themselves very smart experts, but, in fact, they are simply inadequate people. Apparently, it’s time to introduce compulsory psychotherapy in the country,” commented former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Zhuravko.
